Kinley works frequently as a commissioned composer and has a wide range of compositional skill and experience. He is equally comfortable writing challenging music for college choirs, more accessible pieces for church choirs with limited resources, intstrumental ensembles, full orchestra, chamber works or solos. He has fulfilled a number of commissions for weddings, ordinations and other special events.
