This a capella setting of a scriptural text in Spanish has been performed widely across the US, South America and Europe, including a performance at St Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican and Carnegie Hall. The harmonic structure is lush and vibrant, tonally based but with colorful non-chord tones. It is contemplative in nature with a pace that makes the Spanish text very accessible for non Spanish-speaking choirs. It ends with a short soprano solo floating above the choir. Also available in an SSAA arrangement.

This Gloria setting has been called "serious and intense" by the publisher. It is rhythmically driven; full of energy but with "playful" moments as well. There is a brief, gentle section in the middle of the piece with a vocal/accompaniment echo, then the driving rhythmic figures return to bring the piece to an end. It is scored for SATB with string orchestra accompaniment or piano reduction.

An unusual commission, the request was for a choral bluegrass piece. Since blue grass music is not typically associated with choral singing, there were some interesting challenges. The audio sample included here is a capella but the addition of traditional blue grass instruments will enhance the stylistic effectiveness of the piece. This setting of Psalm 50 has a modal, almost medieval feel, using a 3/4 - 6/8 alternating meter shift. The accompaniment is provided by Kinley's colleague, organist and arranger, Kathryn Sparks.
